Travel to Church

Dartmouth to St Petrox Church

Time to make your way to St Petrox Church for the 12:00 ceremony. There are two options: take the passenger ferry from Dartmouth quayside — a scenic 15-minute crossing that drops you close to the castle — or set off on foot along the shore road. The ferry departs approximately every 20 minutes, so aim to board by 11:30 at the latest to arrive comfortably before the service begins. If walking, allow around 25–30 minutes from the town centre.

Meeting point to be confirmed

Smart elegant. The ceremony is on cobbled paths and cliff walks — please bear this in mind when choosing footwear. There is no strict colour palette; wear what makes you feel wonderful.

Please aim to be seated at St Petrox Church by 11:45. The passenger ferry from Dartmouth quayside takes approximately 15 minutes and departs roughly every 20 minutes — board by 11:30 to arrive in good time. Alternatively, the church is reachable on foot along the shore road in around 25–30 minutes. There is limited parking near the castle.

Children are warmly welcome at the ceremony and reception. Please let us know on your RSVP so we can make sure there is space and catering for little ones.
